OHLA - comment
Board rows at OHLA are inevitable, given the large egos that have now bought into the company. The board does not need to be friends, but they do need to let the managers manage. Last week, the board raised concerns about payments to the Amodio brothers. The Amodios tried to have the CFO fired but were blocked.
OHLA is also restructuring the Services division, has sacked four senior managers, and is postponing the sale. We expect that the Services management wanted to buy the division out, so were slow to respond to requests for information. With the bridge loan repaid, the pressure is off, so OHLA is taking its time before selling.
