Ocado - comment

Ocado needed a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and the company has now appointed one. Amit Chitnis is currently UK Grocery Director for Tesco and has been with the company for 10 years. Ocado's current CCO, Rose Price retires at the end of the year, so there will be an overlap. What the exact role will cover is less clear. Commercial strategy at Ocado will live and die on rolling out its tech platform but understanding meta trends in the grocery industry will be important too.
