Jaguar LandRover - comment
JLR continue to have supply issues and have decided to cut production in two of their factories for calendar Q123. Production at Solihull (where Range Rover Velar and Jaguar F-Pace are manufactured) will be reduced to one shift from two shift patterns. Production at the Halewood plant (in Merseyside) will also drop to one shift. We had expected production to ramp up next year, with the recently announced long-term deal with Wolfspeed expected to improve reliability in the supply chain.
This is no doubt a negative for JLR, but the impact is slightly mooted due to JLR prioritising higher-margin vehicles in the short term.
