Eutelsat - comment

The company has disclosed a 10-year framework agreement with the French DGA (Defence Procurement Agency) in the context of the French Ministry of Defence’s NEXUS Program, which aims to reinforce space communication for the armed forces. The contract, which Eutelsat values at €1bn, gives France  (exclusive?) priority capacity on the OneWeb constellation, hosting for ancillary missions and covers maintenance. This is, evidently, a very big contract for Eutelsat and a manifestation of the government opportunities we thought would take longer to unfold. It is not yet the equity deal we were looking for.
