Boparan - comment

The closure of a facility by Avara underlines the warning about profitability made by Ranjit Boparan earlier this week. Fuel/ labour and commodity cost increases are not being reflected in higher selling prices. Boparan is more exposed than its competitors as it depends more on manual labour vs machine cutting. Avara is moving production to better-invested sites.
